A person who, at a workplace, is an employer, the main contractor or a self-employed person is required to provide such first aid facilities as are appropriate having regard to;

(a)   the type of hazards to persons at the workplace and the risk of those hazards; and

(b)   the number of persons at the workplace; and

(c)   must ensure that, as far as practicable, persons trained in first aid are available to give first aid at the workplace having regard to;

                          I.    the type of hazards to persons at the workplace and the risk of those hazards; and

                        II.    the number of persons at the workplace.

Staff Link has partnered with Accidental Health and Safety to provide First Aid Training.

  • The course we are offering is titled Apply First Aid (also known as Senior First Aid or Certificate Level 3)

  • This course meets the National Training requirement Unit HLTFA301B Apply First Aid.

  • This first aid course covers a broad range of topics to enable participants to confidently manage emergency situations, providing care for the ill or injured until medical aid arrives.

  • It is suitable to both people in workplaces and members of the public who want training in first aid.  Most workplaces require a specific number of people to successfully complete this qualification.

The Apply First Aid qualification remains current for three years, during which time a Apply First Aid refresher course must be completed.

NOTE: It is always recommended that the CPR component is re-done every 12 months.

The course is being held in our offices at 4/53 Kewdale Rd, Kewdale. For available dates, prices and booking information, please see the attached flyer.

Alternative dates can be organised for this qualification to be delivered to your workplace for groups of 10 or more.
