Assessing the workplace for potential hazards which impact employee safety by offering industrial inspection safety consulting services. Development of specific safety, health and environment management systems based on relevant standards, and tailored to meet industry and organisational needs. These can be basic or more complex depending on your needs. Providing comprehensive and confidential services and training to clients based on needs assessed. Identifying and designing support systems for successful safety process implementation and maintenance. AS /NZS 4801/4804 audits. Our consultant can conduct systems audits using Australian Standard 4801 (Safety Management Systems). Providing follow-up services and audits to assure continued improvement in the safety process. Regulatory compliance assessments. These provide a measure of compliance to safety and health legislation including the Act, Regulations, Codes of Practice and relevant Australian Standards. A report will recommend actions required in order to address legal requirement issues. Compliance audits can also assist an organisation to prepare for systems audits. OSH plans and manuals. Our consultant can develop new OSH plans and manuals for organisations whilst still incorporating existing processes and procedures. OSH plans can be used to help set and measure direction and priorities. Working with clients to develop site-specific, continuous improvement to the safety processes. Hazardous substances management audits assist to identify hazardous substances in the workplace. This will include storage, labelling segregation, emergency procedures and disposal, training and the management of MSDS's. Development of hazard registers. OSH regulations require all employers to develop and maintain a hazard register. Our consultant can assist to develop hazard registers which include hazards, risk assessments and controls. Manual handling/ergonomic assessments. Strain and sprain injuries are one of the most common causes of injury resulting in significant cost and lost time. Our consultant conducts manual handling risk assessments in line with the code of practice and can conduct ergonomic assessments. Contract Occupational Safety and Health staff for short to medium term or project work . Staff Link has OSH staff with a diverse range of skills and knowledge. Staff Link is able to provide staff to clients to assist with certain projects. Technical Officers are able to carry out the general, base level OSH activities and projects.
