Diesel Fitter / Truck Mechanic

Heavy Duty fitter / Truck Mechanic required for work at a large environemental company. $36 per hour + overtime.


Our client is one of Australia's leading recycling and waste management companies. 

Their industry knowledge and experience combined with their comprehensive service range enables them to provide their customers with integrated 'cradle to grave' environmental and sustainable waste management solutions. 
 
Operating throughout Australia, their integrated services include recycling domestic collection, commercial and industrial collection, waste assessment and resource recovery options, sorting, processing such as composting, autoclaving, product destruction, waste stabilisation, engineered landfill operations and transfer facilities.

Our client is seeking a suitably experienced Heavy Duty Fitter to join the fleet maintenance department carrying out preventative maintenance and repairs on a range of refuse trucks.

To succeed in this role you will need:

• To be Trade Certified with a Minimum of 2 years experience
• Have some experience in pneumatics
• Have good communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously in a team environment
• A good level of written and verbal communication skills
• Have an excellent work ethic 
 
Our client’s workshop is based in Welshpool. You will be looking at a minimum of 40hrs per week on an afternoon shift.
